We thought it would be best to update you with the programs our Click Region team are rolling out. We have a few running concurrently and want to make sure you know about the ones you can participate in or that you’d like to refer to your friends who need the help.

Digital Work Skills Program

Program area: Benalla, Indigo and Wangaratta Shires

With support of the Foundation for Rural, Regional Renewal, this program is focused on drought resilience and ensuring small businesses and community groups grow their digital knowledge to be able to access digital tools and resources, equipping themselves with the resilence they need for potential challenging times. We have complimentary one-on-one digital business coaching and group digital pop-ups available. If you would like to book or find out more please email Bree at bree@startupshakeup.org

Digital Assistance – Flood Recovery funding

Program areas: Bright, Wodonga, Nathalia and Yarrawonga (some areas have requirements to be eligable)

We have multiple programs with the above Chambers/Business groups thanks to a Business Group Flood Rec overy Grant jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian governments under the Disaster Receovery Funding Arrangements. This allows their members to receive free services from Click Region to help in the digital space. If you are in these areas and would like to know more aobut these programs please email hello@clickregion.org.au and we can give you more information.

This is self-evident, but just in case you don’t know us well…. we are always looking for ways to help assist you and your business.

Please rest easy knowing that you can ask the Click Region team (Bree and Mel) questions at any point of your digital confidence journey, there are no silly questions! Just because you are a professional in your service or product doesn’t mean you won’t get stuck from time to time, thats totally normal. We are happy to see you grow and find your feet, as we know running your own business or community group can sometimes feel like an uphill battle.

We have new content coming to you each month. If you haven’t checked out our new release of content for October, make sure you do. Have a look around and explore. There are topics on Canva tips, how to write a position description, info about Mailchimp for email marketing, and more. We have been speaking with key organisations to bring you more content soon.

One topic that is a very important read is the 72-hour program ‘Preparedness for emergency events’ from Alpine and Moira Shire’s. This topic is free to ensure everyone has access to this important document. It goes through the first 72 hours of an emergency event, and what you can do as a business to prepare for future events. There is also a plan template for you to fill out. Make sure you have a read no matter where you are located, it’s very helpful.
